Welcome to another new blog, vlog, or whatever this turns into. We are a family with Disney Vacation Club points at Disney’s Boardwalk Villas that lives halfway across the country. We will be covering what it’s like to only visit Disney World once every other year. We will also share our experiences trying different craft beers and local gems in the upper Midwest and Central Canada. We hope we are able to help others looking for that once in a while trip to Disney World and also enjoy good beer along the way.
Our last trip to Disney World was in December of 2021 with a travel party size of 8. We made 2 trips to Disney World during the pandemic and did not have much of an issue with the extra precautions….although we went in December both times which may have had something to do with it. One thing we did struggle with was advanced dining reservations. We were only able to secure half of the reservations that we set out to make at 5am on the 60 day mark. I chalk it up to the restaurants not seating to full capacity making a party of 8 impossible. We had to split up for all but 1 of our reservations, but I would suggest that to anyone with a large group. Go 4 and 4 or in our case we went 3 and 5 since we traveled with a family of 5. Our next trip will be our final trip going to Disney World without our 3 year-old daughter so we will be focusing on a more laidback approach, but as you will see in some of our social media posts we have an issue keeping it laidback. Adult Disney is fun, but we are very excited to see all the emotions of our daughter when she visits the parks for the first time. This will be the last trip we make to Disney World for a year or two so we will want to make the most of it. Stay tuned to our website, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channel for updates.
